Thanks Giving

November 21, 2010 By: The Card Sender Category: Personal Development

Well blogger family, we find ourselves coming upon the Thanksgiving Day festivities. Hopefully all of you have already sent your greeting cards. Many of us are preparing our homes for family and friends. Our house will be home to about eight family members. I love family and I especially love get togethers.

This Thanksgiving is especially important for me, my sister will visit. Exciting times because we have not shared a Thanksgiving since 1997.

I thought about just giving a Thanks Giving for family and friends. This blog post is about giving thanks to those folks who have sowned and given into my life. I thank those who have prayed and fasted on my behalf. I thank those who have poured themselves into me even when they thought I was not listening. I thank those who were courageous enough to believe in me even when I didn’t believe in myself.

Take some time to offer a Thanks Giving to those who have given into your life. Show someone Thanks Giving by sending them a card. Send it for free at http:www.sendoutcards.com/56534.

Warm Regards,

Rally for Someone Special

August 28, 2010 By: The Card Sender Category: Personal Development

Branishing the weapon of ink-pen and pencil, I thought I would conquer the world of blogging. I started to blog or write and blog and write and blog and write, simply thinking this is all there is. Then one day it happen, a reply had worked its way into my blog causing my first glimpse of TRAFFIC. Now, I thought to myself, I am doing something. I started to write a little more and guess what…I received more replys.

Friends, yesterday, I almost stopped writing and instead start to rant and rave about ugly hearts. As you can read, I continue to write or what I call for today RALLY.

To rally or not to rally? That is my question. I received a reply yesterday that said anyone that talks about being blessed, happy or high on life is a liar and their website should be shut down. At first I thought it was a joke until the person actually left an email address and insisted that I reply. No, I didn’t write back. No, I didn’t post it on my site. I decided instead to rally support for a positive tomorrow. Yes, I am rallying for the people who believe in being blessed, happy and high only on life.

Rally in your living room, rally in your bedroom, rally in your car, rally at your sport games, rally with a card, rally in your churches, rally in the McDonald’s parking lots, rally, rally and rally some more.

It is time to get on with the business of life. We cannot allow circumstances to dictate where we are going. Let’s go. Let’s go Rally. Nothing can be done about yesterday. Rally for tomorrow, rally for today, rally for our nation, rally for your children, rally, rally and rally some more.

Warmest Regards
