A Birthday Card for My Wife

June 29, 2010 By: The Card Sender Category: Personal Development

I must first preface this blog entry with – every year on my wife’s birthday my son and I go camping. We go camping with the Royal Rangers. The Royal Rangers is a ministry program similiar to the Boy Scouts of America. The Georgia Royal Rangers have one of their biggest events of the year during the week of my wife’s birthday, called POW WOW. My son and I have attended this event every year since 2006.

So every year we have to come up with new ways to say thank you and Happy Birthday without actually being there. My card sending business has made our lives much easier. This year we decided to create a card using a photo of my son and his mom on the beach in Savannah. The card has a white back drop with my son and my wife hugging each other under a big tree that is standing next to the sandy beach. The card came out nice. We included a gift of Jelly beans and Pomegranate body lotion, which by the way smells really good. Using Send Out Cards we created it, we wrote what we wanted inside, we approved it, we selected the gift items, we stamped it and then Send Out Cards did the rest. The card was done online in less than 5 minutes and for less then $2.00.

The package arrived while we were camping and my wife was so happy that we had thought about her and cared enough to make sure her birthday was special. A couple of days after her birthday we arrived home and took her out to dinner. She is loving us right now! She loves us anyways but now we have added some credits.

Another successful celebration of my wife’s birthday. We would noy have been able to pull this one off so easily without Send Out Cards.

Help! I Need to Send a Greeting Card

May 28, 2010 By: The Card Sender Category: Personal Development

The title of this post, has been been my plea for help, for about a month now. Hoping someone smarter than me can tell me why I have slacked off on sending cards. I don’t know why, maybe it’s close to fathers’ day and I get a little lazy and start to forget about the “Honey Do Listssssss”. I really don’t know the answer.

I could slow down and work on the things that matter to me. That is pretty simple, God, my family, and icecream. I need to make those three things my legacy. I was listening to a speaker about a week ago and he stated that “the legacy he wanted to leave behind was that he treated all people with respect and that he loved them unconditionally”. I said Hmmm, then I thought about the statement again, whispered openly to myself (its’ okay, I do it allllll the time) I would like that to be said about me. Who wouldn’t?

Today I make a promise to you before God and man to write and send a card today. I will furthermore write and send a greeting card tomorrow night and for 21 days on a continuous basis.

Send 1 heart felt card to 1 person everyday

I was told that it takes the human mind to do something 21 days in a row in order to form a habit. Do you dare join me? I’ll be waiting. Send a card to change a heart.

Warmest Regards
